Scott Eglseder

President

Scott Eglseder is president and owner of Eglseder Wealth Management Group. He began his career in 1984 and worked in association with several well-established financial planners prior to incorporating his own business in 1996.

His mission and passion is to provide retirees and people who are about to retire with sound advice in the five key areas of financial planning: protection, estate planning, cash flow, income tax reduction, and investments.

Scott holds the Registered Representative, Investment Adviser Representative, and Registered Securities Principal FINRA registrations with Commonwealth Financial Network®, as well as an insurance license for annuities, life, health, disability, and long-term care.

Born in Easton and raised in St. Michaels, Scott graduated from St. Michaels Senior High School in 1978 as his class valedictorian. He attended the University of Maryland at College Park, where he graduated in 1984 from the honors program, magna cum laude, with a BS in psychology.

In addition to his work, Scott thoroughly enjoys the outdoors, good food, exercise, sports, and his vegetable garden. Scott lives in Easton. He has three children and seven grandchildren.

S. Chris Gostomski

Chief Administrative Officer

Chris Gostomski is a native of Maryland’s Eastern Shore with family ties going back many generations. She graduated from Easton High School and went on to study sales and marketing and real estate at Chesapeake College. Chris still holds a Maryland Real Estate License with Benson & Mangold Real Estate.

She presently lives in Cordova, Maryland, with her husband, Tim, who works for the Maryland State Police as the Operations Manager of the Facility Maintenance Division, and their two sons, Evan and Matthew.

When not working, Chris enjoys spending as much time with her boys as possible. She enjoys biking the trails on Kent Island and gardening. The Gostomskis are active members at East Point Community Church in Easton. Through the church, they serve their community in various opportunities that arise.

Suzanne Soistman

Team-Leader Client Services

Suzanne Soistman joined Eglseder Wealth Management Group in the summer of 2023 in our Client Services Department.

Suzanne is a native of the Eastern Shore. She grew up in Cordova and now resides in Easton. She graduated from Chesapeake College with degrees in both Business Administration and Nursing. In recent years, Suzanne has managed restaurants in Easton and St. Michaels.  She met her husband, Brian, at one of those restaurants. He is a Chef from the Washington, D.C. area. They have three sons and a rescued dog, “Daisy”, from Puerto Rico. They love spending time at the beach and with each other.

Ashlie Dyott

Client Services

Ashlie Dyott joined Eglseder Wealth Management Group, Inc. in the fall of 2023 in our Client Services Department.

Ashlie is a native of the Eastern Shore of Maryland.  She grew up in Easton and graduated from Easton High School.  She presently lives in Easton with her daughter Baylie. 

When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, camping, and enjoying the outdoors.  Ashlie and her family are active members of St. Marks United Methodist Church in Easton. 

Taylor Russell

Client Services

Taylor Russell joined Eglseder Wealth Management Group in the fall of 2023 in our client services department.

Taylor is a Maryland Native who has recently moved back to the state. She graduated from Annapolis Area Christian School in 2017 and went on to study Sociology at Grove City College.

After graduating Taylor tied the knot in Easton, Maryland in July 2021. Taylor then relocated to Cleveland, Ohio. After a couple of years in Ohio Taylor decided to come back to Maryland. She presently lives in Easton, Maryland, with her husband, Joshua and their two cats Gaston and Uzi. Joshua is also a graduate from Grove City College and is currently working in the Information Technology Field.

When not working, Taylor enjoys spending as much time with her family as possible. She has four younger siblings, all under the age of 15. When she’s not spending time with family, she enjoys painting, baking, and reading.

Jake Eglseder

Chief Comfort Officer

Jake Eglseder has been on the Eastern Shore all his life. He started out on a farm in Cordova, Maryland, as a young pup in the winter of 2018. Jake joined the Eglseder Wealth Management Group family at just eight weeks of age as our Chief Comfort Officer, where he always puts his best paw forward.

He loves to greet clients with his special brand of love by leaning on legs and begging for scratches or treats.

Jake’s hobbies include destroying any toy with a squeaker inside as well as empty water bottles, cardboard boxes, and hours of chewing on yummy bones from the local Amish Market. He also enjoys long naps under the reception desk, where you can occasionally hear him snoring on the job.
