Premier Client Only Lecture Series Recap

We were happy to start up the Premier Client Lecture Series in 2014. 42 guests attended and learned about tax reduction strategies, commercial real estate investing, and tax-free municipal bonds. A nice breakfast was served and clients tuned in to the following presentations:

Henry Leonard, CPA with CBIZ MHM LLC, discussed various tax law changes that have come into effect within the past 2 years such as the Pease Limitation, taxation on Social Security benefits, and estate tax laws.

Scott Rogers from Franklin Templeton Investments discussed tax-free municipal bonds as a way to provide an income stream that is free from federal, state, and local income taxes. He gave compelling evidence for why it makes sense to invest in tax-free funds with Franklin Templeton Investments.

Tom Terry of Carey Financial LLC talked about how it might be possible to increase one’s income over time by investing in well selected commercial real estate. He illustrated how commercial real estate can provide balance to one’s investment portfolio.
